Highlights of 2024
Before we dive into the New Year, we wanted to reflect on some of the many successes we enjoyed as a community in 2024. Here are our Top 5 moments!
1. Timber Festival 🌿
In July 202, we took a group of 20 Climate Reframers to Timber Festival for a weekend of community building, nature connection, and fun. We collaborated with All the Elements to host a panel discussion, ‘Storytelling for Climate Justice: Crafting Intersectional Narratives’.
2. Content creation at COP29 🤝
A big highlight of 2024 has been forging new partnerships, including with our friends at Shado Magazine. We loved collaborating on a digital media interview series with them at COP29 and inviting their lovely team to join us at our events. Check out the COP29 videos on our Instagram.
3. An Evening With Climate Reframe 🌜
In late November, we hosted a community gathering in London with a panel talk, DJ set, networking, and food. Our heartfelt thanks to our brilliant panelists Daze Aghaji, Samia Dumbuya, Marion Atieno Osieyo, Magid Magid and to our very own Suzanne Dhaliwal for moderating. Special thanks to Louis VI for surprising our guests with a DJ set! See more pictures here.
4. Launching our own newsletter 📣
This year we have increased our focus on providing Climate Reframers with more opportunities to share their work. We did this by launching the #ReframeRoundUp and building our social media activity. A standout moment is when Samia Dumbuya took over our Instagram account for the day at the Symbiocene event this summer.
5. Celebrating Climate Reframers 👏
By far, our favourite highlight of 2024 was watching Climate Reframers absolutely smash it. From publishing books, to attending COP, to surprise appearances on reality TV series, we are incredibly proud of our wonderfully diverse community. We can’t wait to see what you achieve in the year ahead!
Our plans for 2025
